GymFinderAtlas is a free directory of gyms in the United States, organised by state and city. Every listing has an address; most have a phone number, and where a business publishes its hours or services we show those too. Listings come from open data and from the businesses themselves, who can correct their card at any time — about the directory. Nothing on the lists is paid placement.

Which gyms have childcare?

Family-oriented clubs and community centers usually do — YMCA branches, Life Time, VASA, EOS and Chuze staff a kids room at most locations. Budget chains and boutique studios almost never do. Hours are the catch: many clubs staff the room mornings and early evenings only.

Which gyms have a pool?

Full-service clubs and community centers: YMCA, LA Fitness and Esporta, Life Time, and most municipal recreation centers. Express-format gyms rarely have one, since a pool needs both the space and the staff to maintain it.

Can I join a gym without a contract?

Yes — month-to-month membership is now common, especially at 24-hour access chains and smaller independent gyms. Watch for the annual maintenance fee, which many contract-free plans still charge once a year.
