Hours are the catch: many clubs staff the kids room mornings and early evenings only, and the schedule shifts with the school year — call before your first visit.

Good to know
Which gyms have childcare?
Family-oriented clubs and community centers usually do — YMCA branches, Life Time, VASA, EOS and Chuze staff a kids room at most locations. Budget chains and boutique studios almost never do.
Is gym childcare free?
Rarely fully free. YMCAs often include it with a family membership; commercial clubs typically add it as a monthly upgrade or a small per-visit fee. Age limits and time caps (commonly two hours) apply almost everywhere.
How much does a personal trainer cost?
Personal training sessions generally range from $50 to $120 per hour across Connecticut. Rates depend on session duration, trainer credentials, and package options. You can browse 53 local fitness centers on GymFinderAtlas to find qualified trainers near you.
How long to train for marathon?
Training for a marathon typically takes 16 to 20 weeks for runners with a consistent baseline fitness level. The process involves gradually building weekly mileage, completing regular long runs, and prioritizing recovery. If you want structured guidance, search GymFinderAtlas to connect with experienced running coaches.
